Production Ready
USMT machine installation, or in-field retrofit, is “production ready”. This is an extremely valuable commodity because it offers full machine utilization immediately upon completion of the project.
Single source service responsibility
In the unlikely event of any issues , USMT is the single-point of contact for its customers. Customers do not need to deal with any sub-contractors or suppliers.
Rebuild
The process of machine teardown and the reassembly utilizing precision grinding, precision hand scraping, and precision fitting techniques for critical components to restore the machine accuracies to meet or exceed the specifications and tolerances of the original equipment manufacturer. This includes rebuilding machine sub-systems such as coolant systems, lubrication systems, and assembly of hydraulic power units.
Retrofit
The process of replacing the computerized electronics, and linear and rotary motion control systems on a machine with new higher performance computerized systems that provide a superior degree of flexibility and reliability.
Remanufacture
This process is integral with a machine retrofit. It includes the machine rebuild processes and all machine modifications necessary to incorporate advanced technology rotary and linear motion drive systems into the machine. and mechanical issues, and provide spare parts for customer’s machinery
Reengineer
The process of redesigning an existing machine to integrate a retrofit as well as new sub-systems such as automatic tool changing systems, machine enclosures, and mist collection systems.
Repair
This is the segment of our business whereby USMT provides in-field service technicians to address and resolve electrical, electronic and mechanical issues, and provide spare parts for customer’s machinery.
